On Site Flange Facing
This Articulation was Linebored then faced on both sides of the pivot points correcting the misalignment caused from fabrication. Due to the size of the section it was for more economical to machine the part onsite with brisbane lineboring mobile lineboring equipment, saving transport and loading costs to send the part to a large machine shop to have the work done.
This mounting Flange was machined true as it had been distorted when the machine was fabricated. The customer had an issue with a leaking Duocone Seal in the Hydraulic Drive Planetary that attaches to this Flange. The repair was done efficiently with our onsite Lineboring and Flange facing equipment.

This Fabricated Underground Vehicle Chassis needed the Articulation Faced and Bored due to distortion during the manufacturing process.
The job pictured here required brisbane line boring to build a custom mobile flange facing machine for the work, mostly due to the confined space where the distorted Flange was.
