The repair in this ships hull was difficult due to confined access. The operator had to build the mobile Lineboring and flange facing machinery.

Once he was in place the equipment was carefully lowered to him in the hull cavity to be assembled before the work could be completed.

The Caterpillar Final Drive shown here had a broken dead axle. The operator had continued to use the machine and consequently the machine housing was now damaged. The blind bore down inside the housing was setup and line bored to allow a tapered sleeve to be made, positioning the dead axle where it should be. The repair was done in the field using a generator to supply power for the mobile Lineboring Machinery.

This Track Idler was reclaimed quickly and efficiently with our mobile line boring equipment. The alternative repair would have seen the Idler bores either hand welded or welded on a rotator, then machined on a borer or large Lathe. Using brisbanelineboring saved time and money and allowed the Caterpillar Dozer to go back to work much faster.

This Caterpillar D11 Track frame was reclaimed onsite. The Cannon bore and Circlip groove and seal diameter was removed then fully welded before being machined to manufacturers spec onsite using brisbanelineborings mobile bore welding and Lineboring equipment and knowlege.
